Boudh hottest with 43 °C in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, May 30: The Indian Meteorological Department, Bhubaneswar has recorded the highest maximum temperature of 43 degree Celsius at Boudh on Saturday.

With the entire state sizzling under intense heat, the maximum temperature soared above 40 degree Celsius in at least two places, according to the Meteorological Centre.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, Boudh recorded the highest temperature followed by Talcher at 40.5 degree Celsius.

The maximum temperature in state capital Bhubaneswar was 34.2 degree Celsius, while the mercury touched 34.8 degree Celsius in Cuttack city.
