Body of Odia migrant worker brought from Dubai, thanks to actor Sabyasachi

Bhubaneswar, July 17: Odia actor Sabyasachi Mishra who has won many hearts by helping Odia migrants reach home during Covid-19 pandemic came forward again to bring back a body of a migrant Odia from Dubai. As per reports the deceased identified as Balaram Pradhan (36) a native of Ganjam died of suicide on June 29 in Dubai. However, his body could not be brought back to his native. This is when the actor intervened and started the process of bringing back the body. “I immediately collected the family's contact details. After talking with the family, I got the number of another Odia employee of the same company at Dubai. After getting all the details I contacted office of Consulate General of India, Dubai. With a NOC from CGI we contacted Dubai Police, Dubai Municipality. They were so kind, that the work of 30/35days were done in just 3 days. The Covid testing of the deceased was also done and found negative. All documentations and all permissions were ready from Govt of Dubai to dispatch the body to Bhubaneswar,” said Sabyasachi. {"align":"center","id":56399,"sizeSlug":"large"} The actor further said that with the help of Customs the body was received at the airport on Thursday evening. “Subsequently an ambulance was arranged and the body was handed over to the family members. I will also take the responsibility of both of his kid's education,” added the actor.
