Sambalpur, Jan 18: Body of a woman who had gone missing since December 31 was today found buried near Sambalpur City railway station. As per reports, the woman identified as Aarati Devi was missing from her house at Sakshipada under Dhanupali police limits. The in-laws of the woman had earlier lodged a missing complaint alleging that the couple resorted to a brawl on 31 December after which Aarati went on missing. However, the police suspected foul play after her husband Kunal Singh and in-laws fled from the house. The police had even dug up the house of Singh in presence of magistrate and a scientific team to recover the body. Police have also arrested Singh from Bihar and later took him to the spot where he had buried the body. Police claimed that Singh confessed of killing her and burying her at the spot.
