BMC lodges complaint against two for violating quarantine norms in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, March 22: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) today lodged complaints against two persons with the Chandrasekharpur police station in the state capital for violating quarantine norms. “We were forced to lodge complaints after both of them roamed in Sailashree Vihar area. Both of them were lifted from their houses in an ambulance by a team of the BMC, police and health department personnel. They have been admitted in government quarantine,” said a BMC official. Earlier in the day, the Purighat police station in Cuttack has also registered a case against a youth returning from USA for violating quarantine norms.
