BMC lodges complaint against man returning from Delhi for violating Covid-19 regulations

Bhubaneswar, April 3: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) today lodged a complaint with Infocity police station against employee of a Nayapalli based shopping mall for allegedly violating Covid-19 regulations. As per information the man has returned from Delhi on March 23 when the spread of the deadly virus was at high. “He has neither maintained home quarantine nor social distancing. He has been roaming around without personal preventive measuring and creating dangers to own family and people of Prashanti Vihar area. Locals even complained that he has been attending his office,” said a BMC official. Officials further said that the complaint has been lodged to book the man immediately and shift him and his family members to institutional quarantine immediately to avoid any further dangers to the society.
