Bhubaneswar: BJD supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday once again blamed the BJP for the halt in the distribution of KALIA Yojana assistances on the plea of election model code of conduct.
“The BJP has hatched a conspiracy to stop KALIA Yojana all together. But I assure you that the yojana will not be stopped till my last breath,” the Chief Minister said at a BJD public meeting held in Sundargarh today.
He said two instalments of KALIA Yojana assistances of Rs 10,000 will be credited in the rest 25 lakh beneficiaries’ bank accounts on the very first day of the new BJD Government.
Patnaik severely criticized the BJP Government at the Centre for failing to construct a second bridge over the Brahmani river and upgrading the IGH to a Super Speciality Hospital despite PM Narendra Modi’s promises.
Assering that he is always with the people of Odisha, Patnaik called upon people to vote for the BJD candidates and help the party to form government in the State and continue fight for the State’s interest at the Centre.
The BJD chief is likely to hold road shows at Rourkela and Raghunathpalli in the district.
