Bhubaneswar: The BJD will kick-start ‘Ghare Ghare Sankha, Mataamata Diyanti Apana, Paalana Karanti Naveen’ campaign across the State today.
According to the scheduled, BJD supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Panaik will inaugurate the campaign at a village on the city outskirts here at 11 am. He will launch the cammpaign by distributing “opinion forms” among some villagers.
Members of the Biju Mahila Janata Das will be engaged in the campaign in villages. They will collect opinion of people as to what further development they want in their villages and in the State. The women activists are scheduled to reach all 86 lakh plus households in the State.
Political analyst sees the move as the BJD’s “massive outreach” programme ahead of general elections, for which a notification may be issued anytime by the Election Commission of India.
