BJD shedding crocodile tears over fuel price: Dharmendra
Bhubaneswar: Senior BJP leader and Union Petroleum and Skill Development Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday said the BJD is only shedding crocodile tears relating to the fuel price hike.
“The State Government here is earning a lot of money by way of tax from petrol and diesel. If it has concern for people, it should slash tax rate at the earliest,” Pradhan told reporters when asked to comment of the ruling party’s fuel price protest.
It may be noted that the BJD has been picketing at petrol pumps for two hours daily since yesterday against the skyrocketing of fuel prices. On Friday, the party too strongly protested the price rise of petrol and diesel in the State Assembly.
