Bhubaneswar, July 13: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president Naveen Patnaik on Monday appointed 18 senior women leaders as district in-charge of state women wing. The newly appointed district in-charges will look into party’s organizational work in their respective districts.
“As approved and directed by Naveen Patnaik, the BJD has appointed 18 senior women leaders of the party as the district in-charge of the state women committee to monitor organizational work in the districts,” said a release issued by the conch party.

Worth mentioning, the ruling BJD appointed 15 senior general secretaries and nine Vice Presidents with specific responsibilities, besides eight senior vice presidents.
