Cuttack: Launching a tirade against the BJD and the Congress, BJP national president Amit Shah today said that BJD and Congress are the two sides of the same coin.
Shah, while addressing a public meeting at Kulia in Salipur area in Cuttack district, said both the BJD and Congress despite ruling the State has failed to deliver for the holistic development of the State.
“BJD and Congress are two sides of the same coin. Neither they will bring development for Odisha, which despite being rich in minerals nor give good governance. Due to their inefficiency, Odisha has failed to achieve prosperity,” said Shah.
Asserting the BJP will come to power both in Odisha and at the Centre, Shah said, “We promise to look after all round development once voted to power in Odisha in the upcoming elections.”
Shah also blasted the State Government for failing to protect the Jagannath Temple Ratna Bhandar.
The saffron party chief also gave the details of the allocations made to Odisha by the Central Government for various purposes during the Modi regime.
Before addressing the massive crowd, Shah visited Satyabhamapur, the birth place of Utkal Gourab Madhusudan Das to offer tributes to the great soul.
Union Ministers Jual Oram and Dharmendra Pradhan and party State unit president Basanta Panda also addressed the gathering.
