Bizzare:Man detained in Odisha for selling liquor in book store

Nayagarh, May 5: Itamati police station in the district today detained an owner of book store for allegedly selling liquor in the store during the lockdown. Police swung in to action after a video of the book store owner negotiating with a customer asking for beer went viral on social media. In the video, the book store owner claimed that he had enough stock of beer. The owner also told that the customers can take liquor after 7 pm in the evening. Interestingly, the book store is located barely 50 meters away from Itamati police station.     Earlier in the day the excise department has said that it is yet to take a call on opening of liquor shops in the state. A decision in this regard is likely to be taken within next two-three days
