Bhubaneswar: Senior leader Bijay Mohapatra, who had resigned from the prime membership of the Bharatiya Janata Party in November 2018, is likely to return to the saffron party soon.
According to reports, some senior leaders of the BJP are trying to convince Mohapatra to return to the party as his support is needed for a strong fight against the ruling BJD in the upcoming general elections.
It may be noted that Mohapatra along with former Rourkela MLA Dilip Ray had sent his resignation letters to the BJP national president Amit Shah in November last. However, their resignation has not been accepted yet.
Though five months have passed, the two leaders have not yet joined any other party and revealed about their next course of action.
