Bhubaneswar, 16/11:, Bhubaneswar-Anand Vihar Superfast Express had a miraculous escape from an accident at about 12.15 pm on Saturday, thanks to the presence of mind of the gateman at the Level Crossing near VSS Nagar between Bhubaneswar and Mancheswar. {"id":20520,"sizeSlug":"large"} According to East Coast Railway sources, before the train reached near the Level Crossing, Gateman A. K. Tripathy showed red signal to loco pilot and the train stopped before the Level Crossing. It is learnt that a herd of buffaloes came to the middle of the train line when the train was supposed to pass within a few minutes. The presence of mind of the gate man averted the accident of this train with buffalo. Apart from this, he also avoided the traffic problem supposed to crop up, if the accident would have taken place, said an East Coast Railway release.
