Bhubaneswar: Even as the water level of Banshadhara river has fallen, still the river is flowing above danger level at Kisinagar in Gajapati district, according to rivers.
While the danger level of the river is 53.60 metre, the river is now flowing at 55.35 metre now. The water level of the river had touched 56-metre mark yesterday.
According to reports, many villages under Kashinagar and Goshani blocks have still remained marooned due to flash floods. While road communication has been severely affected, the administration has declared schools and colleges closed for the day.
