Balangir, Feb 14: Vigilance sleuths on Friday conducted simultaneous raids at the houses and office of public health department's assistant engineer Ashok Kumar Duria. The raids were conducted on charges of amassing properties disproportionate to his known source of income. A team headed by Bhubaneswar Vigilance Division official Manoranjan Kanhar conducted simultaneous searches at his office in Balangir town, parental house at Baripada, his residences in Bhubaneswar and Balangir and his father-in law’s house. The team sealed his office after the raid with seizure of many important documents. A number of allegations are pending against the official, said a Vigilance source.
