Bhubaneswar: The State Assembly was adjourned till 11.30 am as Opposition Congress members created ruckus over three issues, delay in paddy procurement in western Odisha, rising in atrocities against women and the alleged lackadaisical attitude of the Government in constructing a bypass at Bolangir.
As the House met for the day, Congress Legislature Party Leader Narasingha Mishra wanted to raise the issues. But the Speaker asked him to take his seat and called a Minister to reply to a question. Meanwhile, Congress members like Tara Prasad Bahinipati,Santosh Singh Saluja and Ramesh Jena rushed into the Well of the House and shouted slogans against the Government.
Unable to run the proceedings, Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro adjourned the House at 10.31 am till 11
