Arvind Kejriwal’s oath taking ceremony starts at Ramlila Maidan

New Delhi, Feb 16: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal is taking oath as the Chief Minister of Delhi for the third time today here at Ramlila Maidan. Thousands have gathered at the grounds in front of the iconic Red Fort. AAP has invited 50 school teachers, doctors, exam toppers, auto drivers, care takers and sanitary workers to share stage with the Chief Minister. The AAP chief is likely to start his third term with his old team members – Manish Sosodia, Satyendar Jain, Gopal Rai, Kailash Gehlot, Imran Hussain and Rajendra Gautam, sources said. They are likely to take oath with Kejriwal today. Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan has been dressed up for the oath taking ceremony. Big banners with messages like “Dhanyabad Delli” along with Kejriwal’s image have been put up at the event ground. Around 1 lakh people are expected to attend the public oath taking ceremony that will begin at 10 am and the swearing-in expected around 12.15 pm, sources said. Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the same with installation of CCTV cameras and drones. Kejriwal’s AAP has won 62 of the Delhi’s 70 seats and the BJP remaining eight seats.
