Apsara Rani now features in RGV’s lesbian love ‘Dangerous’

Mumbai, Aug 9: Bollywood director Ram Gopal Verma on Sunday released the first look poster of her upcoming project ‘Dangerous’. As per the director, it is the first lesbian crime action film.

Sharing the poster on Twitter, RGV said,” Dangerous is a darkly passionate high intensity lesbian love story between two women Apsara Rani and Naina Ganguly.”

“Dangerous film will be the first in India to culturally elevate the stigma of LGBT after the honourable Supreme Court repealed section 377. My hearty congratulations to both actors Apsara Rani and Naina Ganguly for them pioneering a new age in Indian cinema,” said the director on Twitter.

Dangerous stars Naina Ganguly and Apsara Rani as 2 star crossed lovers willing to kill and die for each other’s designed as an epic emotional classic love story, he added.

Apsara Rani also thanked Ram Gopal Verma and said, “Thank you Sir for making me a part of this… I truly believe that every individual’s sexuality needs to have equal respect… Truly support LGBT community.”

“I’m so glad someone like you @RGVzoomin is taking a stand and showing the Love of two Women and breaking the stereotype in the Society… Everyone has rights to Love in their own way,” she said.
