Bhubaneswar, Aug 5: A fresh low pressure area likely to form over West Central adjoining North Bay of Bengal on August 9, informed the Regional Meteorological Centre. Under its influence heavy to very heavy Rainfall very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Koraput, Malkangiri, Nawarangpur, Kalahandi, and Kandhamal while heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Balangir, Ganjam, Sonepur, Boudh, Sambalpur,Kalahandi, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Kandhamal, Mayurbhanj, and Dhenkanal. Weathermen said that south-west monsoon has been active over Odisha and light to moderate rainfall has occurred at most places over the districts in last 24 hours.
