A total of 34,546 persons have been infected worldwide with vast majority of them in Wuhan city of China. It is thought to have originated in China’s Wuhan city. The virus has spread to two dozen countries and has been declared a global emergency by the World Health Organisation (WHO). According to WHO coronaviruses are a large family of viruses. Fever, coughing and breathing problem are the common signs of coronavirus infection. In more severe cases, the infection can cause acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and Middle East respiratory Syndrome (MERS), kidney failure and death. The incubation period of the new coronavirus, named novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) is reported to be between one and 14 days. The virus is contagious before symptoms appear. The outbreak of the deadly virus is reported to be tied with animal meat including potentially pangolins and mammals with scales and a long snout and tail. The stain of coronavirus found in local pangolins is 99 percent identical to the latest spreading among humans, according to research by the South China Agriculture University. The research suggests that bats passed the virus pangolins and Pangolin delicacy infected the virus to humans.
