After 6-days struggle, wild tusker captured, sent to Kapilash Wildlife Sanctuary

Angul, Jan 22: After struggling for around six days, Odisha forest department finally managed to capture a wild tusker, who had spread terror under Chhendipada Forest Range in the district venturing into human habitats. Angul forest officials with help of a team from Nandankanan Zoological Park in Bhubaneswar managed to capture the wild elephant on Wednesday that had went berserk. The captured elephant has been taken to Kapilash Wildlife Sanctuary in Dhenkanal district. The wild tusker had unleashed terror in Chhendipada area after it went on rampage chasing commuters on road last week.
