Cuttack: As many as 82 schools registered zero results in the annual High School Certificate (HSC) examinations, results for which were released was today.
Girls outshined boys in this year’s HSC or Matric examinations. Out of 3,97,125 students who passed the examination, 1,91,655 are male and 2,05,470 are female. The total pass percentage stood at 70.78 per cent as against 76.23 per cent last year.
While A1 grade was awarded to 1,181 students, A2 grade were awarded to 9,938, B1 to 24,991, B2 to 46,319, C to 76,139, D to 1,1,6262, E to 1,2,2062, F to 1, 63, 954 in the examinations.
While Koraput recorded the lowest pass percentage of 50.61 per cent Jharsuguda recorded the highest pass percentage of 85.48 per cent.
