757 samples for Covid-19 collected in premises of Odisha State Assembly

Bhubaneswar, Sep 26: As many as 757 samples for Covid-19 were collected today in the premises of Odisha State Assembly. All legislators and staff members need to undergo Covid testing before the commencement of Monsoon session which will begin from September 29. “Arrangement for sample collection was done in six counters. Two waiting space were prepared with a capacity to accommodate 40 persons. Social distancing norms were strictly enforced during collection of samples. Out of total 757 samples only 20 legislators including the Speaker have given their samples,” said an official of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC). Nodal Officer COVID-19 ,BMC Suvendu Kumar Sahoo coordinated the camp events while collection of samples will begin at 8am on Sunday as well.
