7 dead in north-east Delhi violence, Amit Shah to meet Kejriwal, Lt Governor

New Delhi, Feb 25: Seven people, including a cop, were killed and nearly 100 were injured in Delhi violence that began on Monday. North-east Delhi continues to see intense violence this morning as protesters for and against the controversial citizenship act started pelting stones and set ablaze vehicles and shops over the group clash. Delhi metro has closed the Jaffrabad, Maujpur-Babarpur, Gokulpuri, Johri Enclave and Shiv Vihar stations. Large gatherings have been banned under section 144 in north-east Delhi. Union Home Minister will meet Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the Lieutenant Governor and representatives of political parties at noon to discuss the law and order situation.
