Nuapada, Feb 1: Normal life was disrupted in Nuapda district following a six-hour bandh demanding medical college in the district. The bandh, which started at 7 am, is scheduled to end at 12 noon. {"id":25507,"sizeSlug":"large"} The streets and markets wore a deserted look as government and private offices and business establishments remained closed. The protesters blocked National Highway 353 staging a sit in at Ekata quare in the town. {"id":25508,"sizeSlug":"large"} The district lawyers association has called the bandh to press their long-standing demand for establishment of a medical college in the district. Other organisations, civic bodies and business associations have extended their support to the bandh.
