Redhakhol, Sep 16: Four juveniles were held and forwarded to court on charges of wildlife poaching, informed Rairakhol DFO Pradeep Kumar Sahu.
Sahu said that the four minors were caught on Sunday by the forest officials while laying power lines for wildlife hunting.
They were tested for COVID-19 and later were forwarded to court, said Sahu.
According to reports, the minors were laying power lines in a forest near Subarnapalli village in Nakti Deul forest block for wildlife poaching.
Acting on a tipoff, the forest officials conducted a raid and caught the four minors while three other managed to flee from the spot.
The officials seized electric wire, sharp weapons and iron rods from their possessions.
