Six teachers suspended for dereliction of duty in Boudh

Boudh , Feb 20: The Boudh Collector on Thursday suspended as six teachers for dereliction of duty. The suspended teachers are—Saroj Bhokta, Sarita patra, Motilal Bhoi, Sudhansu Sekhar Dhal, Chandramani singh and Dasharathi Martha. Earlier in the day, the Sundergarh district education officer (DEO) suspended the headmistress of Panposh High School in Rourkela for dereliction of duty. The headmistress Manas Mohini Bal was suspended after she failed to upload the matric examination application form of a student due to which the student could not get the admit card to appear exam. The student had filled up the application form, however, the headmistress had not sent the form to the board, for which the student could not get the admit card and was unable to sit for the examination. Later, the student informed the district education officer and the Collector regarding the matter and then she appeared the examination after the Collector’s intervention.
