20 migrants flee from special train in Odisha by chain pulling

Angul, May 10: Around 20 migrants returning to Odisha on a special train from Ahmedabad reportedly fled from the train by chain pulling.

As per reports, the incident took place on Sunday evening near Majhika in Angul district when the migrants stopped the train by pulling the chain. Later they jumped from the train and escaped from the spot.

However, around six of them have been detained by the locals. The locals have also informed the police which have started a manhunt to catch the rest of them.

Several incidents of unruly behaviour by the migrants have been reported in the State in past few days. Earlier the State government had made government quarantine mandatory for returnees.
