2 youths arrested for PDS rice theft in Jharsuguda

Jharsuguda, Feb 10: The Government Railway Police (GRP) with the help of the Dhamnagar police arrested two youths on Monday from Bhadrak district in connection with theft of around 300 sacks of PDS rice from train wagons at the Jharsuguda Railway Station last month. They were brought to Jharsuguda for interrogation. The GRP tracked the accused at Dhamnagar area and conducted raids today with the help of the local police to nab them. Many theft cases are pending against the duo, said police. More than five Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel have been suspended before in this connection.
