Bhubaneswar: In another incident of man-animal conflict, two villagers were killed in an elephant’s attack at Sareipala village in Angul district yesterday.
The two deceased were identified as Debaraj Samal and Sudhakar Mohanty. They had gone to put compost in their agriculture field on Thursday afternoon but didn’t return. After searches, their bodies were found lying in pools of blood in wee hours of Friday.
A state of fear has now gripped the village. Local shave demanded adequate compensation for the families of each deceased.
