Bhubaneswar, Feb 17: The 15-day residential inter-state youth exchange programme for Differently Abled organized by the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) is underway.
As many as 100 youths from different states, including 50 youths from 5 districts of Odisha are taking part in the programme that began on Saturday here at National Career Service Centre.
Former Election Commission of India Dr Bhagban Das, NCSCDA Bhubaneswar Assistant Director (Employment) RK Sharma, NYKS Odisha State Coordinator JP Sharma, NYKS Odisha Deputy Director BP Shah, NYKS Khurdha District Youth Coordinator Vipin Kumar and Dhenkanal District Youth Coordinator Ranjeet Reddy attended as guests on the inaugural day.
These 100 youths will experience versatile activities like language learning and food festival of both States, viz, Maharashtra and Goa and will be home stay for two-day at a village. Besides, cultural events, different competitions, discussion on youth policy and role of youths in national development would be held. They would also have a field visit to Konark and Puri.
