1384 new Covid cases detected in Odisha, tally at 36,297

Bhubaneswar, Aug 3: As many as 1384 persons tested positive for Covid-19 on August 2 in Odisha, the health department said on Monday. When 873 cases were reported from quarantine centres, local contacts were 511. The corona tally reached 36,297 in the state with detection of the new cases. On the other hand, as many as 681 persons recovered from the disease yesterday taking the tally to 21,954. The state has now 14,095 active cases.
