Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today announced creation of 108 additional posts in the Women and Child Development Department to strengthen ICDS service delivery.
In order to reinforce human resources both at the district and sub-divisional level for effective management of activities in convergence with various other departments and for effective monitoring of delivery of services, it has been decided to create 93 posts of Programme Officers at CFPO, sub-division and district levels, 13 posts of District Social Welfare Officers and two posts of Deputy Director-cum-Deputy Secretary at the State level, the Chief Minister announced.
“The State Government attaches great importance to women ad child welfare. ICDS organisation plays a key role in this regard. This additional creation of posts will bring immense improvement in the delivery system,” said Patnaik.
