Bhubaneswar, Aug 6: As many as 10 more persons succumbed to Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, the state health department said on Thursday. "Regret to inform of the demise of ten Covid positive patients while under treatment in hospitals," it tweeted. The toll reached 235 in Odisha with report of the fresh deaths. On the other hand, as many as 45 corona positive persons have died due to other ailments. As many as 1699 persons tested positive for Covid-19 on August 5 taking the tally to 40,717 in the state. When 1073 cases were reported from quarantine centres, 626 were local contacts.
